Carl Theodor Dreyer’s masterful poetic dream film VAMPYR (1932) follows the footsteps of drifter Allan Gray into a world of shadow and lurking menace. Surreal, atmospheric example of early horror, beautifully photographed by Rudolph Maté. Special screening on 16mm! Preceded by a rarely-screened surprise short film from 1930.
