CCSF Presents CITY SHORTS

The students, faculty, and staff of the Cinema Department at City College of San Francisco are pleased to announce the 19th annual City Shorts Student Film Festival: “Giving Color to Life.”

City Shorts stands out as one of the most unique film festivals in the Bay Area due to its being entirely produced and curated by students in the Cinema Department. The festival has screened early work by award-winning filmmakers such as Jim Granato, Joe Talbot, Tina Takemoto, David Weisman, Sam Berliner, Amy Hicks, and Muayad Alayan.

The Cinema Department at City College of San Francisco is proud to present the 19th Annual City Shorts Film Festival. Each year, the festival highlights the best narrative, documentary, and experimental student films produced in the Cinema Department at CCSF. The CCSF Cinema Department offers courses in cinematography and lighting, screenwriting, directing, producing, editing, sound, documentary production, film history, film aesthetics, and genre/auteur studies. Students work with evolving technologies and state of the art equipment that emphasizes hands-on training and portfolio production.
