HUMAN DESIRE
A moody treatise on the smoldering undercurrents of untamed passions, this caustic reworking of Jean Renoir’s 1938 film tells the story of a lonely railroad engineer who becomes hopelessly involved with the beautiful wife of a violently jealous man---with murder the only avenue out. Starring Glenn Ford, Gloria Grahame, Broderick Crawford. Directed by Fritz Lang. 90 mins. 1954. Shows at 8:00 only!
FRAMED
A down-on-his-luck drifter falls into the clutches of a scheming woman who has constructed an elaborate frame designed to net her and her bank robber boyfriend a cool quarter million in cash. All they need to do is put the drifter in the frame. Excellent unsung B noir! Starring Glenn Ford, Janis Carter, Barry Sullivan. Directed by Richard Wallace. 82 mins. 1947. Showtimes: 6;20 & 9:45
