Oh yeah? Billy Crystal? That’s pretty exciting. Brave choice, Academy Awards. It would be great if some costume dramas or period pieces or inspirational family dramas or 3D environmental allegories FINALLY got their due at the Kodak Theater. All my votes would go to LOVE EXPOSURE, but I guess that’s why I’m not invited into the Academy’s (elderly) fold. Seriously, though – get Sion Sono up there. For the umpteenth year (maybe 20, but who’s counting?!), we’ll provide some FREE hors-d’oeuvres, but it’s a long show, so come well provisioned with food & drink. Also – bring high heels and a bad attitude. Doors open at 3:45 (15 minutes before the Red Carpet show begins). This mini fundraiser costs $15 at the door ($12 in advance.)
