Master of suspense Claude Chabrol and renowned French actress Isabelle Huppert team up for the seventh time in Comedy of Power. Parisian judge Charmant Killman (Huppert) has recently sanctioned the arrest of the CEO of a giant state-supported company in a high-profile case of corruption and embezzlement. As her investigation and interrogations proceed, Killman uncovers an immense scandal reaching to the highest levels of government. The more dangerous the secrets she reveals, the more powerful she becomes. But as the pressure of her sudden influence grows, her personal life begins to unravel. She soon finds herself probing both the limits of her own power and its intoxicating grip.
