The documentary embarks on Morgana’s journey with her, while providing us with an intimate portrait of what it is to construct a long-dreamt-of identity.

Morgana es una cantante de ópera transgénero determinada a auto-afirmar su identidad, a pesar de tener que luchar en contra de los prejuicios familiares y el estigma social. Su sueño es una cirugía de reasignación de sexo. Para hacerlo realidad, su única carta es ganar un concurso de belleza en Bangkok y con el premio pagar la operación. El documental acompaña a Morgana en su camino, además de brindarnos un retrato íntimo sobre la construcción de una identidad perseguida durante toda la vida.

Tras agotar otras opciones, la única esperanza del niño es un transplante de córneas. Ante la lentitud del sistema sanitario de México y la escasez de recursos, la desesperación llevará a Mónica a buscar una solución extrema… Dentro del mundo de los niños de la calle.
