February 27 only
Do you have the 2017 heebie-jeebies? Are you feeling nervous, angst-ridden, tense and helpless? We KNOW you are, and we are here to help.
On February 27th, Jason Fulford and Fraenkel Gallery join with the Roxie to present the classic Mel Brooks psycho-comedy, High Anxiety. The film takes place in and around San Francisco, including a crucial scene in the Hyatt Regency lobby. Alfred Hitchcock gave the film his seal of approval and sent Mel Brooks fancy champagne to boot.
Jason Fulford will warm up the audience beforehand with selected shorts and a raffle of home made items that might just help you deal.
The evening’s madness accompanies Fulford’s exhibition of photographs, also titled High Anxiety, which was partly inspired by the film – on view at FraenkelLAB from February 9 to March 25.
