FOOD & FARM FILM FEST: LE QUATTRO VOLTE
April 05 only
Saturday, April 5 at 1pm
A mystical meditation on life’s transformations, LE QUATTRO VOLTE is also a very real depiction of daily existence in a small southern Italian town. Young goats and an old goatherd are some of the stars of the film, which features almost no dialogue and gorgeous images drawn from rural Italy. Fans of last year’s film “The Last Shepherd” shouldn’t miss this one! Directed by Michelangelo Frammartino. 2012.
“…a movie of grave beauty, serene pace and surprising humor.” – Walter V. Addiego, San Francisco Chronicle

We are so thrilled to bring you these amazing films, in partnership with 18 REASONS, that celebrate food and farming while challenging us to deeply explore our food system! If you just can’t choose between them, buy a festival pass and come to all nine screenings.
